Italy
Cinque Terre
We recommend staying a day in each of these lovely villages. Each place is so dreamy and unique that it would be a travesty not staying in each village. There is really no true recommendation on where to stay within the villages, only to stay at least one night in each. They are all so different and unique and the only true way of knowing this is staying in each of the five villages.
Florence
Don't stay near the cathedrals as you may pay an arm and a leg, therefore, find a spot across the river in a less touristy spot with more locals.
Pisa
Don't stay for too long as there really isn't much to do here. We say stay two nights here with exploring some of the surrounding areas. Find something that is near to the train station as it can facilitate the other travels you may do from here.
Riomaggiore
Manarola
Corniglia
Vernazza
